Re: Broadheads
We have a lot of good choices these days. I recall a time when there were very few choices. Something else that has coming a long way is sights. I recall trying to figure out what color to paint my steel sights.
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

Re: Broadheads
I shoot 100gr Montec G5s, they've been accurate and my few kills have been pass-throughs.
Also shoot a 125gr Muzzy on an aluminum arrow for when a grey squirrels or other small game come close.

Re: Broadheads
I have shot a lot of fixed blades and some expandable. The only expandable I had success with was the 100 grain rocket steelheads. I found every deer and had pass throughs on them. I like muzzy 100's the best. I set up a Mathews no cam htr 60# this summer with a whisker biscuit, measured centershot at 13/16", black eagle carnivores in 350 spine, with 42 grain brass inserts. Sighted in with field points, screwed a muzzy 100 on and not adjustment needed out to forty yards. I love this broadhead. Always had pass throughs and good blood trails. This was the first bow I have ever not had to tune for the muzzy. G5 montecs have done me very well in the past and I killed probably 15 deer with them but I can never get them sharp. With muzzy I just replace the blades. Shoot what you have confidence in, that's half the battle. Shoot straight....Wes

Re: Broadheads
I use the Montec G5s (100g). Have had excellent luck with the. Good flight, excellent penetration and blood trails, and reasonably priced.
