Sights
Hope everyone is well, was wondering if anyone has an opinion on a fix pin bow sight. Looking at purchasing a new one and wanted to see what everyone shot. Thanks J

Re: Sights
I use a Spot Hogg Hogg it. I went with a custom 5 pin, green .19 for 20 and 30 yards. Red .19 for 40 and green .10 for 50 and 60. I like the sight, everything is micro adjustable pins are a little different to adjust but once you figure it out its easy. Once everything is all setup I never had anything move or come loose. Plus it also has a lifetime warranty incase anything happens to it

Re: Sights
I have a spot hogg on my bow. Think it is the real deal model. Really like it, only problem is it's 5 pins, and only need 2 pins to get to 40 yards. So the other 3 pins just kinda sit there. But yeah it is a very nice sight, and the adjustments, oh man have I been missing out. The micro adjustment is saaaweeeeetttt. Think its only a $120 sight which really isn't bad compared to some that cost more than my bow.

I use a cbe tek hybrid. It's a 3 pin that's also a slider. So I leave it fixed for hunting but also have the option to adjust for longer range practice.

Re: Sights
I switched to single pin this year and I went with the Axcel AccuHunter Plus. It was simple to sight in and is very accurate. I haven't hunted with it yet, but I'm very confident with it. Only drawback is that the level is very sensitive and I think it takes me longer to settle that in than with my multi pin sight.

Re: Sights
When I shot a compound I believe one came with the bow when I got it not sure though anyway I took snips and cut all the pins off except 1 sighted it in at 20 yards and called it day. Never took a shot over 30 yards and the diff from 0-30 was minimal and still in kill zone. Not saying I never missed just saying I never chose the wrong pin

Simple.....Spot Hogg makes bomb proof sights. I've been using the Hunter Hogg It for many years and love the micro adjustability, and also like the vertical aiming wire.

Re: Sights
I have a trophy ridge react 5 pin and have been really happy with it. I picked up the trio for my back up bow and to be able to practice out to longer distances but I still prefer the 5 pin more.

I agree! I use the tek hybrid pro and its awesome having the ability to have pins and a slider built in one site. In my opinion you cant beat the site for the options it gives you!

I would look on some forums for a used one, they are rather pricey new. Picked mine up for 150 used.

I use a Fuse 5 pin site that came pre-installed on my bow and my perfectionist side sometimes gets frustrated with the lack of micro-adjustability. I would appreciate being able to fine tune my grouping a bit easier, such as Spot Hogg seems to allow.
