Sucks...next year I'm bear hunting

How many points do you have for each?

I would buy another preference point next year for bear hunting and hunt Iowa instead. I waited 8-9 years for my last two bear tags. It's a long wait but honestly hunting Iowa would be a priority for me now that I got a taste for it. Gonna be a LONG 2-3 years waiting to go back.

It has been 8-9years since my last bear hunt. But it's been planned with other family for so long I have too. We will see maybe I can get both done.

I had 2 points going in to Iowa draw. 2 more springs to scout. I was impressed by sheer # of rubs in bedding areas. Wi isn't marked up quite like that.

We put in for another point so we have 3 now. Hopefully 2018 will be it, but I'm hearing guys are not drawing with 3 points.

For the last couple years its been about a 50/50 chance of drawing with 3 points. Many are taking 4.

I drew for zone 9. Put in a lot of scouting this past winter on public. Looking forward to the hunt this fall.
