I do have a couple of cameras out that wouldn't be, had the Beast not went down.

Happy to see the site backup.

Been doing a little scouting ran into about a 4 foot cottonmouth on Tuesday in one of my areas laying coiled up next to a downed tree.

Being scared of snakes it was less then fun almost stepped on him.

Not me.... Not as much as I would like anyway. I have to save my vaca time during the week and then bang out the honey do list on the weekends. That way I'm free come game time.. I just have to make it work..

My wife and I welcomed in our second child (both boys) at a healthy 7 pounds 15 ounces). Learned to live without sleep again for a few months. We made sure to plan this one out (again) so its no where near deer season. Well, I planned it out, she just went along with it!

Separation anxiety is a close description.

I went back to trail camera pics from December and January to record weather data. Maybe it will give some trends or patterns. At least one buck looked GOOD but he is bedding off the property I think.

Sit/drag project just sat, lol and trail cams didn't make it to the woods.

Glad it is back online.

I listened to Joes Podcast interview and Dans podcast interview with the Midwest whitetail guys. Both were very good!

If anyone didn't watch DAn's Youtube video of the 2 weeks he had to hunt public ground, I absolutely recommend you watch it!!

Great job Dan! Thanks for posting so we can get an idea of how you hunt in November and think and plan goals!

Congrats man! And good planning  My second came mid-November a couple years ago bad planning on my part

Two is not much different than 1 but I have heard when #3 comes you might as well sell all your hunting equipment or put it in long term storage

That one is still a favorite of mine. If they ever make a hunting podcast hall of fame that should be in it. You can just hear the lights turning on for Aaron and Zach. We all have been there too. And the season they had after that, last fall, proves they put some serious puzzle pieces together.
