Man o man.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

My daughter was crying...kind of shook up. My son was like "Yep, now I have something for my talk and tell!"

I like the way your son thinks
At least everybody is okay and there wasn't any big damages. At least it wasn't a moose

No way, don't believe it. You have been telling us since you joined the Beast there are no deer in Maine.
j/k Glad it wasn't worse! Dents add character.

lol...been driving since I was 15 and first one I have ever hit in Maine...nearly 30yrs of drving! What is sad is that I believe someone is feeding them across the street -- causing the deer to cross. From here until may is the most amount of deer I see all season. Deer are herded up hitting the bare spots in the fields.

That's about how long it took me to hit my first deer here in WI while averaging 25,000+ miles driving a year. After the first one I ended up hitting 3 deer in a 2 year span causing over $10,000 in damages.

Jeez I would start riding my bike if I hit deer at that rate. Lucky to have never hit one yet. For some reason, everybody I know has never hit one in their own car. They always hit them in someone else's car

Hit one in ohio at 70mph. Blew the airbags. Did $3000 worth of damage. What a mess.

I hit one with my wife brand new car with 1800 miles on it causing $6500 in damage.
Last year I drove back and forth to Iowa in about 10 trips scouting/hunting through some of the highest deer populations in the country and never even had a close call with one even during the rut. Only time I had deer cross in front of me was when I got a few miles from home a few times.
