What if someone were to build a bed specifically for a camera?

I understand guys have been "building buck beds" for some time and one gentlemen seems to do it for a living. I've been finding 2-6 buck beds on a several ridges which isn't uncommon during the off season when the pressure is low. Strictly for inventory purposes I think setting a camera on an entry/exit trail would be golden.. BUT I am really interested in seeing how bucks react when they bed & using weather data to compare my results.

So has anyone tried to build a small bed on one of these ridges and hung a camera over it?

It would be a fun experiment...but what would you learn from it in regards to hunting? Much better inventory over ground scrapes or food sources.

I just want to see if they get up/shift at certain times.. If temperature or wind has them move to different spots?
It would also be a fun project in general that wouldn't cost anything.
