NH hunting season

My name is Aaron and I am 12 years old. I was using a .44 magnum to do the job. On November 23 2016 me, my brother Jared, and my Dad. We went out in the wood to hunt. We were out there for 45 min- 1 hour I was looking at my dad because he said something to me and I heard 4 crunches. So I turned my head and said "dad big buck". He said "when you are ready shoot". So I saw the buck and shot. The deer took off running and I shot again it dropped. We all yelled YES! About fifteen minutes later the deer was getting up. My dad said "here take my 300 savage it has a good scope". I took 3 shots with it and I think I missed them all because I was jerking the trigger. Then I shot with the gun that I was using and he stopped moving. We went down there and my dad said "that thing is a big buck". I said "I know". it was a big 8 point. although i'm not the best or greatest hunter.
