Vintage bowhuntin films.

Unread postby Ol'DanBoone » Sun Dec 04, 2016 7:20 am

Was just watchin youtube clips that had noel feather, dan fitzgerald, alan altizer, myles keller and a few others in them. Man......i grew up watchin videos rented from the video store. Talk about the good old days. I miss it, and i wish it was still like that.
So, seein as ill have money this winter, id like to buy alot of old videos that have been put on dvd. I was just a little guy then, so i cant remember many titles. Can yall suggest some of your favorites??? I want stuff from the late 80s early 90s. I wanna see dudes in trebark, chunkin aluminum arrows at critters from old oregons, oneidas, hoyt/easton game getter bows. So.......lets have some suggestions please.

Weve got quite a few vhs, but the vcr dont work no more. Its a shame we have the whole "king of the north" series and atleast two dick idol videos, "bowhunting october whitetails" and "Corn crazed bucks". I was able to find the last two on dvd several years ago.

I've got a VHS tape somewhere that has dick idol and gene wensal in the same video. The old stuff is way better than what they play on the outdoor channel these days

Couple years ago I got all the Fred Bear stuff in DVD as well as the Bowhunting October Whitetails 1 & 2

Some of the old Stony Wolf stuff was fun. That Alan Altheizer was a skinney bugger, pants always hanging off him.

I used to have that one. I did a search for it a few months ago and you're right, I couldn't find it. I'd love to watch that one just one more time

I have almost all of Roger Raglins old dvds. He was the first one I seen back in the 80's

I also have all the Roger Raglin videos but most are on VHS. If you like big bucks you will love his stuff.

Most of his bucks were rifle kills but still fun to watch. His excitement is contagious. Jiminy Christmas!!

Here is "The Wall"

Here are some Dan Fitzgerald videos. Some good ones here but many of the old videos are not listed. Corn Crazed Whitetails is really good.

The Fred Bear stuff is awesome. Doesn't get any better than that old vintage footage from his adventures. 8-)
