Every year we get a buck that supposedly will easily break the WR yet they all fall well short. Gonna be tough to beat Milo Hanson's buck. The tine length and symmetry on that buck is amazing. There is a reason why it has held on for so long.

I just want to know what the total of the mass measurements are. Looks like it could average more than 6" all the way.

That was my guess.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

That alone could give the score 15 more inches than your average mass mature buck.

Well congrats to that young man for being able to have the composure to harvest an animal like that.
Heck, even the little bucks here in Michigan get the best of me.

iowa whitetail wrote: I cant stand outfitters they just lie and say stupid stuff to get people to book with them. It was shot a good ways from Truro. I'd say it's going on fall short of records but it's a giant and congrats to the young kid.

I agree with you. I am sure there are some fine upstanding outfitters but man of the ones I have met here and there....not impressed.

That thing is humongous for sure. It doesn't have the tine length to be a world record though. G2s and 3s aren't much over 10 inches and real short 5s and 6s. Might gross 200 ish but no WR. Not dissing, just saying.

He'd win the water displacement test, but agree he won't breath the WR due to time length. Sure is a giant!

Was it shot with a crossbow? I don't care one way or the other, it's just that the arrow in the pic looks really short. Also if it was it will not be eligible for P&Y. Awesome buck regardless.

I have to disagree with you Joe on tine length, the average human head is 8-9 inches tall and those tines all three long ones are well over the size of that young man's head length. I'll bet this buck flirts with WR territory. He's a monster.
