You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Thanks for your advice Bucky. Due to property lines I can't get in from the bottom. Hopefully coming in on the ridge top will work.

Coming off top usually better.... depends on where deer bed/coming from

Hunting a "Hub" from a ground blind starting Friday. Way ridge is, anything but easterly wind will work. For easterly winds I have a 2nd ground blind hidden in a giant fallen pine 1/3 way down an easterly downside ridge off the main one about 300 yards from other stand. Both spots have lots of doe and small buck pictures earlier. In past, a couple bruisers have cruised through same area, one of them on my wall. With my spine surgery still tender, I am putting all my eggs in these 2 baskets. I do have a couple trail cams to monitor my favorite spot which I regrettably won't be hunting due to my back and knee and distance to spot. I love hubs up in the ridges, seems like bucks from all around end up coming thru at one time or another, especially 9am-1pm and 4pm to close.
