DVD Question

Unread postby DirtyBird » Fri Oct 14, 2016 10:50 am

Being new to The Hunting Beast approach...in what order would you recommend getting the DVDs? As a hunter from Mississippi...I've got access to hunt public & private land with various types of terrain...timber, ag, river bottoms, swamps, and hills. Side note...I've already started the "All time best tactics threads" and am amazed with the great information you guys are willing to share.

Marsh bucks and hill country bucks both contain information that apply to all terrains. It hard to put one above the other.

Best bet is probably in the order Dan is releasing them. Marsh, Swamp, and then Hill Country. Marsh bedding really gets your feet wet with how bucks bed. Swamp bedding builds on that and he actually breaks down an area on aerials and with boots on the ground which really helps you learn what to look for while cyber scouting. Hill Country has some good examples of thermals and where bucks bed in relation to elevation.

Sounds like a plan. Where does the "Extreme Whitetail Tactics, Volume 1" fit in the mix?

After further review...noticed there are DVDs presented by Blood Brothers titled "Hunting Marsh Bucks" & "Hill Country Bucks"...then there are those from Hunting Beast titled "Marsh Bedding" & "Swamp Bedding". Do they need to be watched in any particular sequence...or should I just shut up & get them all to watch?

If you have the cash just buy all the videos in the hunting beast store. I own all of the deer related ones and learned from each. No regrets on my purchases.

Everyone can learn from these.

I started with Marsh Bucks and Hill Country and then the new Marsh Bedding and Swamp bedding. I watch them over and over as do most of the guys that own them, I'm sure. I ALWAYS pick up new tips every time I watch.

I have them all now...

Watching Swamp bedding now.. excited to watch Marsh bedding and turkey tactics..just got those 3 today..

I can't say one is better than the other..if you hunt certain land you'd probably want the proper dvd..

I never hunted a marsh or swamp in my life...after watching marsh bucks I found one and scouted a piece of it...had a great sit in there last week...a place I'd never hunted if it wasn't for the dvd...and all the bucks came right out of the bedding I scouted...

They are all great...and even though might be about a marsh or hills etc..certain things are often found in other places.

I say buy them all. With all the money you will save on gimmicks and gadgets that don't work you will still be money ahead.

Get Marsh, then Hill, then Swamp in that order if you can't buy all at once. It is the order they came out in and really it is the best order to watch them in, they each kind of lay the ground work for the next one.

Ordered "Hunting Marsh Bucks" & "Hill Country Bucks" last night to get started. I'm sure I'll end up owning them all before too long. Thanks all for the advice!
