9finger podcast - Mr Warren

Unread postby cbigbear » Wed Aug 03, 2016 1:53 am

A good friend of mine recently did a podcast with Dan Johnson. I've mentioned Mr Warren several times in threads here basically anytime a newcomer ask about just killing a deer. Anyone looking to kill deer any deer his tactics are solid, proven by the 377 kills he has!!!

I listened to the podcast a couple days ago. Was an entertaining podcast. Very cool to here the history and data recording he did for most of his hunting life.

Just listened, I had read through a link you posted at one point in time with a big forum post he had written. Very cool hunting perspective that he has! Inspires me to start compiling all of my record keeping/observations into some kind of all in one journal. I will be taking a look through his journal.

Mr Warren has several podcast on a local LA site. Very informative tatical podcast about hunting food sources on larger tracks of public land. Looking like you can only access them via computer. The link isn't working on my phone. Click the listen now link on the left of the screen.

Haven't listened yet, but I did read his "summary" post that you linked here a few weeks ago. That should be required reading for all beginning hunters, especially those of us in the same kind of terrain that he's primarily talking about. I would be thrilled to meet him and pick his brain a few hours.

Great podcast. All that documentation is awesome....so many hunters have a chance to read through that and learn.

Mr.Womack is a verifiable legend here in La. X2 on wanting to share a camp with him! He credits Cbigbear with his willingness to wear a safety harness now! Which is a great thing,- I want mr. Warren around a long time.
