I have dabbled in scents and lures over the years, don't use them any more....I had some success with them, and some bad experiences. The net result was I didn't see that I was gaining anything from them the way I hunt so I stopped.

A lot of guys on here will say scents are a gimmick, but any decent trapper can prove the concept of using scents and lures works. There are certainly gimmicky products out there, and a lot of wrong instruction on how to use scents and lures.

Study how trappers use them if you want to experiment with them. I guarantee it is a lot more complicated than putting a dab of doe pee on your boots.

None - but doesn't mean you cant use them. Nothing would cover up my hunts so far this year. I have sweated up so bad on my first 3 hunts with long walks into the marsh that it was pouring off my head once settled in my stand. My last hunt not so bad a little cooler out. Maybe it would work on private land short walks maybe???

If you've seen Marsh Bucks, scents are what Dan would consider "magic pixie dust".

I use "Evercalm"... seems to put them at ease.

Real tarsals only and I will use them any and every chance I can. During the rut.
