I'm worried that it may have ruined it also. Will see this evening, and let you all know.

Good luck Bedded, hopefully not a hard lesson learned because I would like to see you with some pics of this beast. I like to play the odds myself and do anything to improve those odds, you may have significantly lowered your chances this morning but then again maybe not, go get him!

Re: Hunt him in the morning or wait for evening
Hunted the spot, and like clock work a doe and 3 fawns came out right at 6:30 like I expected. The big guy has been showing at 6:45-7. In that time she circled around me and got down wind and started blowing at me and ruined the hunt. On to my next spot tonight. An old faithful buck bedding staging area.

The farmer says he is seeing him off and on. I would ask to see if he can name the last time he saw him and I would look back at the night you saw him and do a historical search on what the wind was doing that evening and wait for that wind. Possible wait for a front.
Regardless I hope you get the opportunity to sling an arrow at him.
Good luck
