John Eberhart blog

Unread postby JoeRE » Wed Aug 05, 2015 2:51 am

John Eberhart discusses a lot of good topics in these articles, don't think anyone else has posted it. After you read the first one there is a link to his next article at the bottom of the page....there are a whole bunch of articles.

[glow=red]NOTE[/glow] even though this is on scentlok's website 90% of what he writes about is NOT scent control related so its still worth a read even if you think his opinions on scent control are way out there.....as I kinda do 8-)

Just sharing this link...please don't turn this into some pro/anti-scent control holy war. There is a lot of interesting info on a wide range of subjects. The best ones are a few articles further in IMO.

I've been falling this one for a while. Really liked his "Get out & Live" blog post a month or so ago. It had a good message that many forget.

Thankya kind sir! That really is a great article. I'm constantly driven to hunt areas/states that have low pressure and high mature buck numbers. This blog makes me take a step back and appreciate PA's hunting heritage, and learning to hunt high pressured areas. I now am fortunate to live in southern PA near better hunting(in Maryland and Delaware) and I am going to take advantage of that. This year is the first time in 15 years my dad will be hunting(rifle) and it is the most excited I've been to hunt in a long time, even if it is only on 5 acres.

The big bucks keep me focused, but the little things keep me going.
