That sounds like a good idea to me I got a ton of diaper boxes sittin around lol does the dirt stop the arrow pretty good or have you ever had it travel right through? Im setting up targets in my garage..wife would be ehhhh kinda made if i put an arrow in the wall

Stops em good. You can always add a little moisture if your soil is light.

When I first started with bowhunting I refused to spend big money on a target- I went to the store and bought a cheap styrofoam target and thought I was all set- Once I shot a couple of my arrows straight through the target and lost them I realized that I should have bought a rhinehart in the first place-Buy once cry once.

X2...My 18-1 is going on it's third year. I would buy another one. I limit the amount of broadheads I shoot into it and it has several more years of life.

Thats a good tip. I will have to try that with a cardboard box.

I use feed sacks as cheap disposable rag bags but like I mentioned earlier that's more for field points. Just dump the rags in another one when they start to come apart. I get an endless free supply from family members who farm.

Thanks for the tip Bass. My second daughter was born a month ago. Plenty of diaper boxes in this household

18-1, is the best in my opinion. I had mine for 4 seasons shooting 1 broad head and 2 field points per end of arrows all fall long for the last 4 years. It is a great target, and I take it with me everywhere. I finally threw it out this summer after it split in half and became unshootable. I WILL BUY ANOTHER ONE.
