Golden rod?
Im just curious as to what some of you folks here have noticed, if anything with doe bedding in golden rod. I have noticed it to be hit and miss. Ive seen area that are golden rod that every time im in them I bump does and other golden rod areas that never hold any beds. Have you noticed much doe bedding in golden rod or noticed the same thing? If so, any clue what sets one golden rod patch apart from another. Trying to decide if on setups for the upcoming rut cruising. Thnx

The property I own is a mix of golden rd, multiflora rose n autumn olive... I have doe beds all over it. I also found a real nice buck bed right up next to a autumn olive bush. I put my camera up this weekend to see if I can get a pick of him.. I looked at my topo of the property n the buck bed is right on an elevation point... kinda like hill country but itd only a ten foot rise from front to back of the property
