Awesome read!

Although, I've incorporated many tactics that I learned from the BEAST into my hunting style, I have to admit that I haven't had this type of hunt yet but it's what I'm working towards. My time has dramatically shifted to hunting bedding areas and my success has increased because of it but I haven't located enough specific pieces of dirt to key in on. I'm still just hunting as close as I can get to known areas.

Congrats on the great hunt! It'd be great if you could post a map showing the buck's bed, the wind, your parking spot, entry route, and your stand. I know it helps me to see how other guys setup if you don't mind.

Pure Awesome.

How far were you from his bed and how close to the end of shooting light did he walk by?
No Shortcuts. No Excuses. No Regrets.

I was set up about 80 yards away from the bed. He came by right at closing time and I know he just got off his bed because when I first laid eyes on him he was pooping as he walked and he was walking with purpose like I mentioned in this story.

After I passed him and he got on the scrape, I pulled my iphone out to take a video and you can hear him on it, but it was so dark that the footage is just plain grainy from the low light conditions.
