Would a N.E. Wind work for this?

Unread postby Trailcamaddict » Fri Oct 17, 2014 1:33 am

Guys, I hunted in one of the properties I have access to and saw a really nice buck move from some CRP out towards a neighbors field going from NW to the SE. There was a NW wind and the buck went out towards the field with the wind at his back just like described lots of times on the site.

There is another field to the SW of where I was sitting (Red Dot) when I saw this deer. Do you think that this buck might go to this field instead when there is a N.E. wind so that he has wind to back when going to feed in the evening, or will he just keep going to the same area regardless of wind?
