I have been thinking about this...gonna go
do it tomorrow as soon as I can! Did you do anything special to the tree? Scents? Lures? Or just saw it off and stick it where you wanted?

I had no idea how focused bucks were about scent left on the tree as they rub. They all take one or two strokes and check it for scent. I envisioned a constant punishment on the tree, this is an eye opener.
