Aside from removing those brackets every time, I am out of ideas. I strap them together but it's a mess. Does anyone use these and have a good way to pack them?

I think we have a set of the double step sticks at the cabin too. Man are they heavy. I used to bungy a set of 5' ladder sticks to an old tiny API when I was younger and dumber. Worked ok, but a pain walking through the woods.

Here's my setup. My back pack nest's next to the stick's. I do lay them flat also, and then put the back pack on top with bungie straps.

I would recommend getting a duck hunting blind bag its about a foot long and 6 inches wide i have my gps flashlight knife and drinks in it i can throw it over my shoulder and have my climber on my back. It has a clip on strap so i can clip it only stand as i climb up the tree then once i get in the tree i clip it around the tree and it sits just fine. I put my safety harness tree strap in my pocket along with my rope. I have found its much easier to put thing you will need soon as you get to your stand in your pocket and not your bag as you wont have to dig through your bag to find them.

I do the same thing as Superseal with the Badlands Nano... otherwise 4 sticks sideways on Lone Wolf Alpha, double bungee straps, always have an EZ hanger over my left shoulder with locked and loaded bow, over right should I have my range finder, right hip is the Badlands Nano with cell phone, grunt tube, treats, water, wicked saw, knife, etc

I always set up my tree the same every hunt... so I'm not fumbling around when a shooter strolls into range.... I think it makes a big difference to have everything organized the same every sit

The Molle setup is what Im looking at. Do you guys use a quick detach? And does that mean quick detach from the tree stand or do you leave it on the stand when hunting? You dont use the plastic frame piece that comes with some setups right?

I don't use the plastic piece that came with the Molle setup. My Molle straps are on a Summit Goliath and the shoulder and waist straps stay attached to the bottom platform and never come off. There are quick disconnects on the should straps that I have to "pop" to unpack or repackage the climber.

I make sure that all of the straps are buckled before I climb so that there is less loose strap to flap in the breeze.

That advice is golden... I can set up my stand in pitch black quietly cause I know every piece of my equipment and exactly where it is located. I don't use a pack, everything goes in a pocket and goes back in that pocket after use.

everything you need to rig a treestand in that link. I threw away the plastic pack frame

I typed "molle shoulder straps and waist belt" into google
