My stirrups are pre sewn 24 inch loops made of like 3500lb webbing. Bought them off a rock climbing site for a few bucks. I just put them around the stick and tied some cordage around them to keep them there. You might me able to see if you zoom in on the photo. Only thing I dont like is that when its windy they can blow around. And be careful climbing down. I can usually stretch down and just step on the lower stick and skip the stirrup on the way down. They sure help going up though!

Great job. B15 has a video on YouTube for making steps similar to that. I tried taking it a step further, 3 steps with the webbing. .moves way to much. 1 step should work nicely.
