Many hours away but it was cold and windy in most of the state today. I got out for the last hour and didn't see a thing but I think things should pick up tomorrow through the weekend.

I grew up just 30 miles south of Caledonia, can't wait to get back and bow hunt it next year. Good luck on your hunt!

I have spent quite a bit of time in the Caledonia area...actually Freeburg, but whats 5 miles. My buddies out there have been saying it is slowly getting better, deer are just starting to do there thing and move in daylight a little more.

I hunted the Caledonia and Rushford area back in 1980. I got hooked by a nice buck (8 point) no shooting lanes :confusion-shrug: . One opportunity all season and I had no shot, how rookie was that?
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
