It would be interesting to see how this correlates to how many hours spent hunting/on stand?

I would say 1-2 the last few years which is up from 0 in the years prior. This year was a goose egg though. Only have 30 hours on stand this year. Yikes!

This is mostly on south central wi public land and some NE wi public.

One on stand this year, and my brain turned really stupid. Clean miss. On public in Indiana. By that other tree. I can't give an average per year as my hunting is changing. I love the public though. Lots of young deer where I hunt but a few monsters too.

For me it's a couple hundred hunting hours between bucks I want to shoot. Good incentive to start hunting smarter and scouting more.

This past season I saw 5 that would go 120+ I would say on adverage I see 2-3 120+ bucks a year. The past couple of seasons I’ve had at least one opportunity to harvest during those encounters.

3 this season. 2 private, 1 public. I average around 2 a year, hopefully that average is on the incline.

I live in Michigan and see 2-3 over 120" on average and I can't complain being that Michigan isn't the greatest at holding mature bucks.

I did go to Southern Ohio this past season and seen 4-5 over 120" in just the 9 days I was there.

Last season I saw 1. If I see a 120 or larger that is generally a really good season! ;)

I usually see two that will go over 120 every season. Often I kill one of them. I'm in NW Connecticut. A 120+ buck is not very common around these parts. In addition to the public land I hunt there are two good sized private pieces I hunt. I run multiple trail cams year round on them and feel confident that I get pictures of every deer on the property. I usually only see one or two that go 120+ every year. The biggest I've ever seen on a cam was a 140ish buck. This past season I killed a 137 that I had specifically targeted as my number one buck. The number two in line was probably a 115. He is top of the list for 2018. Slim pickings for sure, but for me sealing the deal on the top dog in town is as much an accomplishment as getting a booner in a big buck state.

I'm no good at guessing antler scores  To make matters worse, a lot of the bucks I see, are likely right around that 120" mark.

In 2017 I saw more big bucks while I was scouting in spring and summer than when I was hunting. But I didnt even bowhunt at all in Nov. in 2017.

So my my answer for this year is I don't know. But this is WI, and there may be one or two around ;)

I'm in Pa hunting mostly public, and I usually see 1 or 2 per year while hunting. I also have hunted NY public the past 3 years and saw 2 in three years. I don't get near the time involved in NY as I do in Pa. Both states have bucks that are 120 or even much larger, but not a lot.

Cool older thread. This is about right for me also. Saw 5 shooters during one great season.
