WOW.....great looking deer. I haven't ever seen a deer in the wild that even comes close. Great job.

I don't think P&Y has a recurve devision but Buckmasters does. This buck will beat the current Kansas State record recurve buck by 5 inches in the buckmasters record book. ;)

Actually they do. They put out a traditional only P&Y record book a few years ago. I bought one. It's a pretty awesome book. They also have some great articles In there. It's called the Traditional Journey. The book came out In 2007. I just looked at my book. Assuming no more 180 Inch bucks were shot via traditional your buck would rank 4th.

Congratulation's on an outstanding animal!! It's a great feeling taking a big buck but It's even a better feeling when your doing It the way you are. I've been hunting with a recurve for 16 years. The satisfaction Is very over whelming. It's a satisfaction that many won't realize until they do It themselves for a set time.
