Trail camera pics from this past week

Unread postby BigHills BuckHunter » Sat Feb 18, 2012 4:28 pm

In West Central Wisconsin I Had my camera out for the past 5 days and checked it this morning and got 9 different bucks. Mostly yearlings but a few up and comers. Also, do bucks travel a ways out of their fall range in the winter because we dont recognize any of these deer?

Cool pics thanks for sharing.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

yes, this time of year all deer will congregate on the best food source. its a bad time of year for anyone to take a census especially if they have standing beans or some high power attractant.

Out of the 9 bucks, two were half racked yearlings and one looked like an older buck without antlers because we could see the holes in his head. The other 6 had both on as of Feb. 17.

That makes sense. Thanks for the info. We have cut corn and standing corn which seems to draw them.
