Would you rather kill a buck on opening day or last day.

Would you rather kill a nice buck on opening day or the last day of the season.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I can still shoot another Archery buck --> then comes firearm season...

its hard to choose im on both side of the fence ....it would be gratifying to kill one on the last day but also right away in early season hunting beds ......then you know all the hard work has worked and payed off in early season....IMO

If I only had one tag...the last day for sure...I would hate to have a one day season...I love hunting way more than killing

I'm with G3....last day, then.

I tagged out on bucks (2) this year on 11/7. I was miserable, with almost 2mos. of our season left.

The state of NC has no idea what I would have paid for another buck tag.

Last day, my preference would be about 2/3rds of the way through the season though. I just had this conversation earlier today with magicman, I would go crazy if I only had one tag and filled it early on, I would miss too much of the season.

Opening day. I'd be happy hunting does and squirrels the rest of the season with the pressure off.
