If that top one was a 2.5 can you imagine what he would have been like at 5.5? :shock:

Great post Ninja, a great example of why I have kind of given up attempting to age a deer with any kind of accuracy. Sure we might get is right some of the time but way to many unknows and variables for even someone with tons of experince aging deer to be very consistant at it. I might throw a guess out here or there but that is all it is and don't put much faith that I got it right.

Now racks on the other hand are a great example of an exact science we can measure, even then the angle of the photo can throw us off by a fair margin. No different with aging of a deer from a photo except it is far harder to be accurate.

good stuff ninja, I would have guessed 3.5...but after seeing the rack thats got to be one of those big 2.5's! Learning more about KY every day :lol:
