Huge buck my friend shot , but lost blood trail !

Unread postby Swampthing » Sat Dec 03, 2011 2:54 am

My friend has a pretty sweet piece of private land. He followed this buck on trail cam, and then went in for the hunt. He came out at 35, followed blood but lost him in the ( yeah you guessed it SWAMP ).
He brought in dogs and friends, he,s pretty sick about it.

dude i know what hes going through right now, tell him not to give up. mine was found 22 days later, and the trail cams really helped, when we didnt get any further pics we were sure he had died. i sure hope he finds it i lost lots of sleep over mine but lucked out in the end.

one more thing, have him contact the dnr and report it, this is what i did and ultimately led to getting to tag mine as a kill because everything was reported and documented .

Bummer in the worst degree.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
