Killed One

I shot an average 7 point, formerly 8 point prior to breaking off his G3. Killed him on public land with a bow during gun season. Pretty cool although I admit he is smaller then I will ever kill again. I would say he is 2.5 possibly 3.5. Dragged him out and got him processed with the skull plate rack sitting above my fly tying desk as we speak. I will be eating him next week! Finally after years I have killed two respectable bucks in a row but ready to start holding out for something larger. In the upcoming weeks I will be making a few small tweaks to my gear, and will begin my scouting for next year and tree prep. I am still out for a 3rd buck for the year but if killed he will be bigger then the past two.
