Bighunt, I found the same thing when I was processing my deer today. I cut his rack off and cut the scalp and this little piece fell out and hit the cement, pretty sweet 8-)

Must have been wedged in there somehow

WOW COOL MAN THATS AWSOME.......i see your deer was perty busted up thats crazy how it happends they must hit them self perty hard to penitrate there hide ...was it infected

That's awesome. The buck I shot this year, I was able to turn back my way with a snort wheeze. When I was caping him, I noticed his one ear had a split in it from fighting in the past. I'm really starting to like these bucks that are scrappers. The ones that have busted up racks and respond to challenge calls. The way they come in all bristled up and ticked off. Archery is awesome!!! 8-)
