Very deep subject. I too try very hard to look at wind like water flowing, but when you throw thermals in and realize there is more wind moving around, and hitting more obstacles than water at most places, it can be overwhelming.

I am only at 4:07

One of the things dan taught me many years ago that has stuck, is that a swirl isn't a wind shift. If you watch a swirl in the water, in a very small area, the wind may have "shifted", but if you look outside that small area it really didn't shift.

You need to get outside of these eddie currents or swirls.

Milkweed will show you these

I use an app to download and listen to podcasts. Is there a separate feed URL I can use for that? Is there a way to download it to my android device?

Great job on the podcast. I'm going study a hill country area map right now. I think it should have a couple connecting ridges for the rut cruising talked about.

This is exciting! Thanks Dan!!

I am obsessed to podcasts, and listen to a variety, but hunting is my favorite and you have the niche.

Any news on the plans for the podcast? Will it be every other week or more like the tv episodes?

Guests? It could be cool to interview people like Andrae or beast members who known for great tactics.

Really great--my favorite was the comments about failure. True no matter what you are striving toward. Thanks for putting this together.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Sooo glad you're doing podcasts. you can cover so much info in a relatively short amount of speaking time. Another reason to keep Hunting Beast as my favorite site.

Very good...I throughly enjoyed it. Listen to Dan talk about 10 yards or less from being in the right tree is so true. I'm working on being better at picking them out
