You're a savage Muddy, congrats!

When you have a minute, curious what tipped you off to the spot by the pines - just the fact the wind worked?

An open field back behind that deer avoided. Pines and crazy thick stuff around the stand. An old logging road coming right thru it all with numerous scrapes on it. Basically the easiest path of travel but exceedingly secure and secluded because of how the topography laid out
On the edge of the field you cannot see the logging road even only 50 yards away. The wind was pretty critical too obviously. I'm not sure it would have worked out without the thermals that day. <10 mph wind was swirly due to the pines, but the thermals were taking it all straight up.

Make sense? Just one of those spots you walk up on and go... "whoa... boneriffic!"
