Shot this 6 pt opening day of gun season in ny. I had a small buck chase a doe right under my stand. They ran about 40 tp yards in front of me and this old guy ran him off the hot doe. I let out a couple grunts and he came charging in at me to try and chase me off. Little did he know i was waiting there in the tree with my 12 gauge. I shot him 10 yards away under my tree. He didnt move from there.

October 23rd I set up a ground blind 20 yards off of a a ridge line bucks cruise during the rut about 2 hours before shooting time. I rattled softly and he was curious came in and gave me a broadside shot through a conifer I had trimmed on this main trail.

I killed this buck on December 27 2018 gun season in East TN so a little late but just getting active on the beast forum but got in the tree early that morning set till about 8:30 then caught movement outta the corner of my eye and there he was following a doe on the thermal tunnel trail and raised my trusty 30-06 and dropped him in his tracks at about 90 yards.

Then about 30 minutes after I shot him the big boy came grunting And running a doe 50 yards directly in front of me  lol

10/25/20 High pressure lower michigan public land buck. Went in blind to a spot I map scouted previously and ended up finding a lot of tracks and a few fresh scrapes. Hunting on the point of a peninsula that jutted out into a swamp. There was a ton of diversity as a swamp, lake, and cornfield all met within 100 yards of my spot. I found several tree stands but decided to hunt anyways and ended up shooting this buck with an hour of light left and he was only 10 yards from somebody else's stand. He was moving off at 50 yards and I grunted him in to 25yards. He was a 2.5 yr old 8 pointer that had busted off two tines on his left side.

Shot this buck October 29th around 5:30. Went in after a significant rain storm.it Cleared out about 4:30 he came in following a doe around 5. First shot I missed and thought it was over, but he wouldn’t leave that doe. He ended up following her in. Almost passed him when I got him to 10 yards. Never seen this buck before thought it was another ten point I had on camera. Long story short after I took the shot and tracked him I couldn’t believe how big he was by far my biggest body. 225 to 275 pounds on the hoof. For those who are familiar with taxidermy measurements he had a 23 inch base of the skull neck circumference I’ve never broken 22 till now. The funny part of this hunt my brother who is starting to hunt with me I told him that afternoon it be cool to get a drifter buck one just coming in for does then gone. Sure enough that happened.
