That’s truly amazing! Love the shadow box, too. I assume it’s very fragile?

Got some bigguns here in OK but I’ve never taken the chance to snag them, I’ve heard it’s a blast.

Awesome Seaz..did they used dermestid beetles to clean the skull?
Also are you doing anything with the other critters you shot this year?

I had actually never seen one prior to learning about paddlefish season in Montana, but I was living a sheltered life, so that's not saying much

It looks pretty fragile. It's all cartilage from what I understand. I left it in the box so I didn't break it with my ape hands. You should get out and give the snagging a whirl one day. Pretty fun when you finally hook into one!

Yea, it was cleaned with beetles.

As for the other critters...

That is rad! I’ve seen some cool stuff over my way with bill fish mounts where they meld bill with the tail with some of my buddies who are old school offshore fisherman but that paddle fish is about one of the most unique things I’ve seen in a while.

That looks good!
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

Looks awesome! Never seen one of those. How were the steaks from it?
It only takes 15 seconds for the hunt of a lifetime.

I enjoyed the fish. Closest thing I can compare it to is swordfish. Mild taste, but firm light pink flesh. I'd definitely eat it again.
