The Hunting Beast

I picked a ton of milkweed pods and put them in dehydrator.. I have way way to many!! So I’m selling vacuumed sealed packages of 15 pods which should last a few years depending on usage! I will accept Venmo payments under “seeker529” or money orders.. I am asking $8 for a package of 15 pods! Pm me if you’re interested... first come first served until I don’t have any left!

Just my opinion, but I see selling milkweed pods as wrong. Now I can see giving them to people and them paying any shipping costs as viable. But that is just me.....

Eh, think of it this way, you're buying back your time. You could spend a couple of hours picking them yourself... Or you can pay this dude 8 bucks to get those couple hours of your life back. May be a worthy exchange for some. Would you pay someone 4 bucks an hour do do chores for you? I would.

You absolutely can feel wrong about it and don’t have to even buy it... but let me defend my side here... shipping standard postal is $4.00... then bubble wrapped envelopes is $0.77 the gas to drive and pick them is $2.00 the vacuum sealed bags are $1.00 the electric for me to run the dehydrator for 2 days isn’t even calculated in... so I actually am losing money and not making any.. I am willing to help any fellow hunter out but I won’t go poor doing it!

I apologize for my post. It was not intended as a bash. I guess having the stuff all over in my area, I wouldn't charge people. I forget that alot of guys do not have the easy access to it as some of us do. I admire you for be willing to help some of them out. Again- no malice intended. I hope alot of guys take you up on your offer.

Agreed. Once you put in time, shipping, and material to ship $5-$8 isnt breaking even by a long shot.

Shipping definitely cost alot nowadays.
I think the price is fair.
We have no milkweed here in the south.

If you take paypal lemme know. I have never heard of a Venmo whatever that is.

Thanks I might have enough for the year I got 9 pods right now though I've already used 2.

The family life is crazy this time of the year for me so seeing people selling this at a more than reasonable price helps me out a lot! Thanks!
