You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I was reading my copy of "mapping trophy bucks" the other day by brad herdon... He discusses wind and thermals but from what i read (correct me if im wrong) he didn't explain leeward bedding or rut hunting the thermal tunnel. I realize the book is kinda dated and I also realize he's not Dan. But I just seemed kind of torn with some topics of his. Some diagrams showed his setup on a windward hillside, not leeward, and I feel like that might go against what us beast hunters do. Im not putting him down at all. The man clearly is a great hunter. I do really like his book.

Is there anything in his book that you guys here on the beast DO NOT agree with from his book?? Just curious.
