I watched it about a week ago. For some reason I didn't notice you shooting him twice on that video, guess I'll have to watch it again.

No... When the deer was skinned, the arrow path went below the ribcage thru an area that was just meat and fat.

I hit a buck low like that last fall. Only difference was he was quartering away...and he tore out like he was heart shot (only he wasn't). Lots of fat on the arrow. I was sick; first deer I've lost in years. I did feel better knowing it was a non-lethal hit though.
Great vid, by the way!

I enjoyed the fact that I could see how and when it was ok to move after your first shot and you renocking another arrow....I could see you stop when his head moved, and see you move when he looked away.
Ive always struggled with timing my movement when necessary. Now I got to see a pro do it.

When a food plot tastes so good a big buck will ignore a broadhead going through him and immediately go back to feeding in the plot then I would have to say that is a pretty good blend. Just sayin

JR, where are you ???
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

Great video. I like the blue collar, in the wind, no bologna, hunt. I think one thing to point out from the video for the younger hunters. Taking the quiver off the bow is a huge advantage in real hard wind conditions. You might want to keep the quiver a little more handy though. Really enjoyed watching.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Yep... That quiver issue almost got me. Gotta keep that in mind next time I hunt..
