Just a little update, I’m finally shutting it down. I had a pretty descent year. I didn’t find the better spot until sometime in May, but I moved all of my traps and it paid off. I went up to 15 sacks then it slowly started slacking off. It’s on the edge of not being worth it anymore and I’m ready for a break. I still have about 220 traps out and it will take me several days and lots of work to pull them out.
Here’s a few pics I took. I thought I would get more, but when it’s 98* and humid taking pictures kind of gets dropped to the bottom of the list.

Too cool man. We catch them with our hands for smallmouth bait.

Use to run traps 20 years ago. The swamp was very hot and humid but we always had a great time.
