General rule of thumb to finding sheds.
1. Bumps= anyrhing they bump their headgear on.
2. Jumps= creek crossings or anywhere they need to jump.
3. Beds= pretty self explanatory i think!
4. And lastly food sources= again self explanatory.

7 miles today and one elk shed from last year. Not all cracked and chalked like the one I found yesterday.

Some of you might have a hard time believing this, but I actually found a shed :shock: decent 4 pt side off a 2 yr old

I can’t buy a damn shed!!! I walked over 10hrs this weekend in all my best spots and not even one. Lots of snow melted and bare ground too. Oh well.

I try not to think about this, because I'm sure I've walked past a ton :lol: There's been quite a few times that I've stopped for a drink, snack, check onx, or whatever, and there is one like 10 feet away that I probably would have walked by otherwise :lol:
