Fun day in the woods most I've found myself in a day

Looks like the chewed up old one next to the jumbo could be from the same deer?

I was wondering the same thing.

Rain cut my hike short yesterday, but found a few, including this heavy 4 point in a new property.

Had a great day. Me and the boss (my gf) found 15 sheds and a deadhead. Gf got her pro card, finding a brown spike. I found my first 70" deer antler. I was pumped.

Took a quick walk the other day to check some bedding areas. So flooded out my way. 8” of water in places I’ve never seen water in 20 years.

Picked up a chalk shed today, fairly certain it was dropped in 2014

Took a mental health day yesterday. Got in a little over 12 miles and ended up with 6. All older ones, nothing from this year, unfortunately. Thats probably a wrap on deer shed hunting for me this year. Hoping to find a few elk sheds before I hang it up for 2021.

Pretty much done shed hunting for the year, time to start hunting turkey's. All but 2 come off our farm or land that boarders it. (800 acres approximately)

Central MN WMA. Found on a little island in the cattail swamp a few weeks ago but it was still froze in. Got it out last weekend. Only found a couple bones so must have been there a while. I did get a possession permit just to be safe.
There are some old and new beds where I found it so I'm thinking most likely shot and injured and made it back to it's bedding and died there. It appears a different buck is using these beds now with the amount of fresh poop I found. It's right G2 is 10 inches. I am thinking 3.5 year old and it's been laying there at least 2 years. Let me know what you think!

That’s a good buck for these parts. I’d say your 3.5 guesstimate is accurate. Sounds like a legit bedding area.

Found a few more last 2 outings. My girlfriend almost stepped on a giant prairie rattlesnake today, so it might be time to shut down the shed hunting.
