Yup I'll post the score. As far as cleaning it really doesn't need it other than if I wanted to bleach it out more.

So yesterday I put on 5.7 miles found two sheds one shed was a match from the one I found last week 1/2 mile away. Look at the posted picture of one shed I found yesterday, look at the base, so much bone attached, has anyone ever found a shed with so much bone attached? I've found my share of sheds in my time but never one this weird.

Looks like that one would have hurt when it fell off.

I dont think rodents like messing with deadheads, sheds different story

Yeah I heard that rodents won’t chew on a dead deer’s antlers. Like jmaas stated, sheds are a different story.

I found one like that 2 years ago. Dr. Grant Woods made a good YouTube video on that recently. Apparently they fracture their skull doing deer things and get an infection and part of their skull will break off. According to Dr. Woods the deer that belonged to that antler is likely dead.

Found this set a little over a week ago. This buck had a big dagger point coming out of his base on the one side but it broke off a month or so ago. First ones I’ve found with this much skull attached

Found a couple good ones today. The largest was in the swamp and the others were on the upper third of a sand ridge. I always get into a bunch in this spot. The dry beds in the swamp were really nice nearby.
