Re: What’s your Holy Grail?
I found perhaps the largest whitetail shed I’ll ever find in my life winter scouting in’19. I had this buck in bow range twice in one week last season but never had the opportunity to get a shot off. Turns out I have a prior years set to this guy. Found the right winter ‘18 and the match fall ‘19 a mile away. Had high hopes of getting another crack this season but zero sign has been found that he has returned. No “official” score but I got a rough score of 96 5/8.

Watching a couple bucks now hoping they shed where I can find them. Really unique.

My new holy grail of a b&c match whitetail match set and a moose set. I'd like to find a bighorn deadhead seeing that I'll probably never draw

I was after this buck in '19 but never saw him on the hood. Found his matched set as a 5.5 year old. Scouted a property 1/2 north of where I found his sheds and I found his matched set from the previous year. I had my first encounter with him last week and he's very similar to last year. 137 and change as a 4.5 year old and 155 2/8" as a 5.5.

Re: What’s your Holy Grail?
For whitetails so far, this shed would be mine. I was hunting this deer on public land in Ohio. Saw him twice in person in 2011 bumping him from his bed both times going into stands. And got his picture once in that 2011 season. Found his shed in winter of 2012. Dad and I saw him one time each while on stand in the 2012 season. Got a couple pictures of him that 2012 season as well. He got a lot more non typical between 2011 & 2012. He disappeared after the 2012/13 season. Those couple of years of chasing him were some of the most fun times I've had hunting. This antler scored 91 3/8 but his split brow tine was broken off at the base. Judging by his picture in 2012 it looks like it may have been a fairly long a fairly long point.

Re: What’s your Holy Grail?
This is my favorite shed even though tree rats chewed off a large portion of the main beam along with another point. Still scores right at 70” with the missing bone. I saw this buck a few times but disappeared and never saw him again after finding this shed. He was all of 170” on the hoof.
Found the shed exactly where I last spotted him coming from his bedding during the rut.

Re: What’s your Holy Grail?
Two sets of sheds from the same buck in a large cattail marsh. Amazingly both sets were found laying together two years apart and almost one mile away from each other. They were worthy of a shed mounting kit.
Finding any shed in a marsh is very difficult. Finding a pair laying together is very rare. Doing it twice on the same buck in a huge marsh is astronomical.

I remember you posting about the finds. They look nice mounted up like that.

Re: What’s your Holy Grail?
Found scouting hill country in a deep hollow where a little stream connects to a Bigger stream. Central pa measured out to just over 68 inches. I found last spring had one encounter with him this season just a glimpse

Edit
My shed holy grail is definitely a mature set. I found these two years ago at a fence crossing. I measured them and came up with 126 inches.

Re: What’s your Holy Grail?
Spraying weeds in Montana for work all summer found around 40 sheds with like 12 matching sets. Have only found one little whitetail while walking the woods in Minnesota where I Live but have put on like 100 miles lol
