We had WIFA tournament today and even in the cold, we had nice bunch of pike, crappies, perch, bluegills and even bass caught today. Northerns hitting minnows and panfish seemed top love the artificials.

Finally got a boys day out. We had a great day chasing flags. My son loved it because he gets all our flags and grandpa's too. Got a few on the jig rod too, but only managed one legal and a perch for the fryer. I'm getting the permanent out this week, can't wait!!!

Kinda bumming about this weekend. I was planning on trying to get my permanent out on Thursday and do our first overnight this weekend, but with the weather we got today I'm gonna have to hold off. The cracks got a little wider today and it just isn't worth it. Bring back the Polar Vortex!!

Fished pettenwell sat with a just 1 13 1/2 in crappie and 1 keeper eye at 18 inches

Fished poygan Sunday. Fish most of the day by my self then hooked up with capt nolan (a freind of mine) fishing was slow!!!!!! I had 15 inches everywhere I drilled...guys were jumping the crack with full size trucks...I followed  :shifty: about 1 o'clock the ice shifted and what was a crosable heave turned I to a 4 foot wall of ice  I drove back to Indian point and got off there! There was about 100 trucks out
