I'm out on poygan right now. Couple small perch so far. Far west end. Moving slowly toward the horseshoe.

Fished all day on bago. Got one serious windburn. Ended up with 3 buckets of bass. Can't complain. Pretty desolate out there since they pulled the truck bridges. gold flutter spoons were money today.

No pictures. Nothing special. Just a day filling the freezer

Im heading north tomorrow and hoping to slay more crappies this time. Seems like I been getting nothing but bluegills lately.

Don't know the exact distances. Went SE off merritt where almost everybody started and got on fish the second spot. Bounced around there and then went out about 3 miles to the east and got some more. Would probably say maybe a mile east and a mile-mile and a half south to start with.

Caught a bunch of gills yesterday. Really slow day but at sunset I started to pull in some slab bluegills. Like a switch they just went nuts. Too bad I had to get going cuz I coulda stayed out there all night hammering those big bluegills. I sliced my thumb open lastnight gutting fish, except it wasn't the knife that did it, it was a gill plate on the fish that got me. Pretty wicked wound. Never had that happen before.

Went to bago today. Stayed outside of the group and bounced around. Fished from 10-2. Got 5 whitebass and missed a few more. Must resist going to the group next time. Gonna try to venture out a bit more. Might find some time on Thursday to get back out.

Slayed some crappies today. Also landed the biggest crappie I have ever caught so far. 11 inches.

Nice fish Crazinamatese, nothing like a tasty batch of crappies.

I was out on our local Waukesha Lakes, had a lot of flags but only managed on legal 29" which I did CPR.

We caught some bluegills, crappies and perch but most tiny.

We had one kid catch a 17-inch largemouth bass and boy did he get excited, it was fun to see.

I still want to get to GB to catch whitefish since I hear they are doing well on them.

Good luck to all those out..

Do you fish on friday? I would have done it since I am always out there saturday, just don't feel like dealing with the mobs in downtown oshkosh and losing a half day of fishing. Actually the last few years I have done really well on saturday out on poygan.
