heading out on the hardwater tommorrow!!!!

went out to check the ice tonight, 3 inches on the turn basin! low of 5 tonight so i will be walking out onto the hardwater come sunup tommorow to pull some walleyes out of the river!!!! i am stoked...prolly wont sleep tonight. come tommorrow, flags will be flying, the humminbird will be hummin and the jigs will be pumping..hopefully some fat green bay walleyes coming through the holes! :mrgreen:

I was out on a small lake in Central MN today. About 6" give or take. Only out for an hour an a half with no Pike. Just feels good to be back out there.

Go get Swamp! You are making me jealous, all I can do is look at my beaver dams and wonder which one will get the first flag, you will have that taken care of in the morning. Good luck!!

Good luck, Don't push it if isn't there. I always get nervous on first ice. If you have ever punched through before you would be too. Now I wait. Stay safe, stay dry. Hope ya slam them.
