Knives you like.
Was just wondering what knives you own and like.
I'm a big Morakniv fan best knives I've owned.
My favorite is the Morakniv Garberg in Carbon for woodworking and survival, camping.
My everyday carry is the Morakniv Eldris amazing tiny knife. Great for skinning small game. Also a great firestarter.
For combat I have a Seal Pup I got on clerence years ago.
For skinning I like the baby Camulous from walmart.
I used to be a Gerber fan and Sog but the quality keeps going downhill. As you can tell I'm a fixed blade fan. I tried to buy for different purposes. Each is unique.
What knives do you guys like?

Re: Knives you like.
I have 4 benchmades and I like all of them. 2 folders and 2 fixed. One folder is mini griptilian and the other is the north fork from the hunt series, that one is my favorate and is on me everyday. I got those folders because in Michigan edc has to be under 3", I'd rather not get hemmed up on a dumb thing like that. The other 2 are from the hunt series and they are the saddle mountain skinner with a gut hook and the other is hidden canyon. All the hunt series are s30v steel which chris reeves had a hand in, so you know it's good stuff.

Can't beat my Spyderco police 4 k390.
Wasn't happy with the fixed blade market and the prices so I made a few knives two years ago. Some from 52100 and a couple from cpm3v. They turned out better than anything I can buy, fit me perfectly, cut like lazers and hold an edge forever.

Re: Knives you like.
The fixed blade is the first knife I made (from an old circular saw blade), need some pins so I can get rid of the tape
The folder is a Boker Kalashnikov, my first automatic. I've only had it a couple months now, but I really like it. It has a great pop when it fires open, and is easy to close one handed.
I carry both of these daily. Kentucky has great knife laws (unlike Michigan), and any weapon can be carried concealed without permit.

I use a Buck 110 a lot these days. Holds an edge and works great.
Use fillet knives for most butchering - Dexter Russell if brand matters.

The old Schrade "sharp finger" is still one of the best skinning blades out there. Cheap to come by and worth 3x their weight in gold.
Aside from that I am infatuated with old Buck Kalinga's. I have my dads and another with a rosewood handle, gorgeous knives.

Well I can’t say anything about carry knives but a really nice tool for skinning and cutting up game are the Havalon replacement blade knives. Use mine for everything start to finish, also they have bone cutting blades and filet blades, it’s a great tool, cleans up really well too.

Re: Knives you like.
For EDC, I carry either a SOG Aegis or occasionally the flash II. Mainly because they are a good budget option and will do what I need them to do.
For Hunting/processing, I use all Outdoor Edge Stuff. I really like their products.
For fish filleting, Rapala knives get the nod from me.
If I found myself in a situation that I was trying to defend my life from an attacker, I'd reach for my SOG Seal Pup because the knife just feels natural in my hand, but there's always an unexplainable feeling I get from holding a KA-BAR.
If I had to pick one that was my most cherished, it would definitely be my Buck 110. That thing could tell a thousand stories if it could talk.

If shooting 130's was a sport, I'd have a gold medal.

Re: Knives you like.
My favorite two antler handle knives a friend made for me out of a couple shed antlers I found. Both blades are American made and the sheaths are homemade.
