I really like that show to bad I only found it a few weeks ago. I really like Marty, looks like my wife's uncle....

Marty is as hardcore as they come. He is my favorite as well. It would be cool to have a show that just follows him.

I watch and like that show. I agree with the other about Eustace, he seems whinny to me and more like a cult leader than a survivalist.

New season of Mountain Men is playing Sunday nights on History Channel.

New season of Mountain Men started tonight. Anybody watch it?

I mainly watch for Marty and Tom. Those guys live in some awesome country and live very interesting lives. 8-)

if the states economically collapse, guys like these are ones you want to be friends with. these guys will be able to survive.

Colleague of mine met/had dinner with Eustace and after they got into some whisky post dinner, stayed the night at his place in a separate cabin at Turtle Island. Said he is a really bright, pleasant guy. I think he was a professor before. Eustace also admitted much of the drama on the show is made up for TV. I like the show though. I also admire ZAP for no TV - thought about going that route before too.

Yep, don't like to miss it. I could see Dan, as well as a few others from here, living like this. I also agree Eustace is useless! although, he did build a very nice canoe.

Tom Oar building his own arrow shafts and then tracking/killing a buck with his stickbow tonight was pretty cool. 8-)
