Need resources on how to Rabbit hunt like a beast

Unread postby buttonbuck » Fri Jan 01, 2021 12:51 pm

Squirrel and Rabbit hunting while I post season scout. Have access to large briar patches. I have no dogs. I killed one last year while walking around and the meat was delicious. Wondering if you guys have suggestions or links so I can learn to hunt rabbits like a beast.

Wait for the snow. Nothing more fun than chasing rabbits in fresh snow. That’s how I find them without a dog. Mmmmm grilled rabbit.

Junk yards, brush piles, thick stuff that butts up to farmland.

Flush them out yourself, jump on brush piles, walk through the thick, use a shotgun with an open choke . or use a dog . my only dog i ever owned was a black lab that loved hunting pheasants and RABBITS.
