I have a mystery ranch sawtooth and love it.
My Binoculars are Vortex diamondbacks 8*42. Love them and the warranty. Just sent them in and had them gone through. They were back in my hands in under 2 weeks.
If you’re going to buy gear I recommend asking guys here on the Beast.we won’t lead you a stray

Yeah I have some 10x42's I use for deer currently. Eventually I want to get an actual spotting scope. Packs worry me without trying it on in person because torso length varies big time from person to person.

Most of the hunting packs out there that are not from a big box store make you take your measurements when your buying so you get a good fit.

Exo, stone glacier, kifaru, mystery ranch etc.

As far as actually trying them on try to find some guys locally that’ll let you carry some weight around in one.

This is a good ideal, Actually being in a area with a lot of hunters now will defiantly help.

That's awsome I hunted the uncompagre with a couple buddies last fall it was an experience I'll never forget we shot a cow opening day of archery 3.5 miles from the trail head, that country out there is beautiful. Can't wait to get back.

It is gorgeous out there. I actually thought about moving to Colorado after my divorce but my daughter comes first and I have other things in my life that have become important.
But maybe when I retire if that ever happens.

We leave 9/3
I’m starting to go through all my gear. It’s coming fast
Be chasing elk before you know it

Going through my list of stuff to do before I leave.

Activate my in reach
Renew my onyx
Download maps for offline
Start pounding water
Shoot my bow a bunch more
Go through my gear and go through it a second time
Practice calling some more
Smile cause I’m going to do what I love

Got my new shelter almost done. Needs some rope loops in the grommets and she will be ready.
